7th January 2019
A celebratory assembly was held at school on 7th January. The purpose was to celebrate the achievement of one of our pupils. Some time ago a national competition was run in which children were asked to design a new badge for the WOW travel tracker initiative which is currently running at John Hampden. Bonamy, in Year 2, put forward his entry and he was chosen as one of the eleven national winners. His badge will be worn by children across the country.
At the assembly Bonamy was presented with a whole bag of goodies by Councillor Shaw from Bucks County Council and he also had his photograph taken for inclusion in the local paper.
Bonamy’s success was also beneficial for the school because we were awarded some special prizes too for having a national winner in our school.
