Our school runs a designated nursery (The Early Years Class) for children who are rising four and we are offering the 30 hour flexible entitlement, meaning that children in this class may attend for six hours a day, with the option of a chargeable lunch club. Our expectation is that all children who are offered a place must attend for at least every morning session each week (8.45 a.m. - 11.45 a.m.) Priority is given to the oldest children in the cohort and parents can apply for a place in this class to start in the Autumn Term. If, by January, the class is not full (26 places) parents may apply for a place for their child in the Early Years Class starting in the Spring Term. Applications for a place in the Early Years class should be made directly to the school. In the event of over subscription, criteria outlined in the school’s admission policy apply. NB Admission prior to Rising 5 does not guarantee admission to the reception class. Applications for the Early Years class are made separately and managed by the school.

The school has an admission number of 90 pupils to the Reception Classes each year i.e 3 classes of 30 children.

If you apply online you will receive an email with your child’s allocation on 16 April 2021 or you can log on to the online portal to view your child’s allocation.
Letters for Buckinghamshire residents will be posted out in the first class post on 16 April 2021 for receipt on the 17 April 2021. Online applicants will only get a letter if the 1st preference has not been allocated.
You have 14 days (until 30th April) to accept the place offered. You can do this online if you applied online in the first instance.

Children joining us directly into a reception class will have several opportunities to visit their new classroom and meet their teacher.
Children joining the school part way through the year are welcome to join their new class for an hour before they start properly. This can be arranged with the school office. A ‘buddy’ is assigned to a new child to help them settle in and learn new routines. Parents are welcome, and encouraged, to visit the school and meet a member of staff to answer any queries and talk through school routines prior to their child starting here.
