We have been instructed to close this school to almost all children after Friday 20th March. We are open for the children of key workers and children with certain needs - care will resume at John Hampden after the Easter Holiday. There is a Home Learning Tab on this website where you can access home learning activities for your child to complete if your child is at home. Do contact us via telephone or email if you need to.
Welcome to the website of the John Hampden School Wendover. We hope you enjoy browsing the site to learn more about our school, as well as giving you a flavour of what the school can offer your child.
The John Hampden School is an infant school teaching children from 3 to 7 years old. Staff and governors work hard to ensure that children are happy and challenged and leave the school with the highest levels of attainment they are capable of. The school is very proud of its achievements and its excellent reputation.

"Pupils enjoy their school and love to learn."
"Pupils’ high achievement, the school’s focus on developing pupils’ understanding of the core values, and the strong transition programmes, ensure that pupils are very well prepared for the next stage in their education."
