Following its very successful introduction six years ago we organised our sixth ‘Enterprise Week’ at the end of the Spring term. We invited parents/carers to come along and support their children if possible. Each class chose their own fundraising idea and parents/carers received an invitation to attend an event which was been planned by the children. The children were encouraged to think about the steps towards making their event a success and were involved in collaborating to plan, resource and work out costings. The aim is to make some money and to recognise that you need to work hard to achieve this goal. Once the event has taken place the children decide how they would like to spend any profit they have made.
